Why this page exists

This is a demonstration of rights and description metadata for agencies. Each image on the site carries the same description in three machine-readable places:

  1. HTML alt – read by screen readers, crawlers and multimodal models that parse the page.
  2. XMP inside the file – Iptc4xmpCore:AltTextAccessibility, dc:description, dc:rights, xmpRights:WebStatement, plus:LicensorURL. It travels with the file when it's downloaded, scraped or ingested into a DAM or training set.
  3. schema.org JSON-LD – ImageObject with description, copyrightNotice, license and acquireLicensePage, the fields Google Images uses for its Licensable badge.

When the three agree, a model or index doesn't have to guess what an image shows or who controls it.
